To All Global Citizens, Wake Up! 

醒来吧，全球公⺠！ 

Are we, Homo Sapiens, unwittingly becoming the most significant threat to our planet since life first emerged here four billion years ago? Are our actions akin to a cancer that could trigger an immune response from Earth herself? 

40 亿年前，⽣命在地球萌发，我们⼈类是否从那时起，便在不经意间成为这颗星球最重⼤的威胁？我们的所作所为是否类似于⼀种癌症，可能引发地球⾃⾝的免疫反应？ 

Sadly, our species is facing an ongoing crucial crisis, and it’s a predicament of our own making. 

可悲的是，⼈类正⾯临着⼀场持续的重⼤危机，⽽我们⾃⼰正是这场危局的始作俑者。 

Enter the Anthropocene era—an epoch marked by the indomitable rise of a species that climbed to the apex of the food chain. Yet our voracious appetite has wrought havoc on countless other species sharing this fragile, biological spaceship. 

地球进⼊了⼈类时代。⼈类百折不挠地崛起，终于登⾄⻝物链顶端。然⽽，我们的贪得⽆厌给同在这个脆弱星球的⽆数其他物种带来了灾祸。 

The consequences of our actions could be cataclysmic. Famine, pandemics, social upheaval, mass migrations, and wars—all unprecedented in our 300,000-year history—are looming on the horizon. 

我们的⾏为或将导致灾难性的后果。在⼈类30万年的历史中前所未有的饥荒、流⾏病、社会动荡、⼤规模迁徙，以及战争正在悄然逼近。 

But here's the crux: We believe in the "pessimism of the intellect and the optimism of the will." 

但有⼀点⾄关重要：我们相信 “理智上的悲观主义、意志上的乐观主义。” 

Deep within our collective consciousness, we sense a wellspring of compassion and solidarity that can triumph over our destructive tendencies. We believe in harnessing technology for the greater good, finding innovative ways to grow food sustainably, produce goods responsibly, and consume mindfully, all while nurturing a profound respect for nature and its myriad inhabitants. 

在我们集体意识的深处，我们能感受到⼀股⾜以战胜⼈类破坏倾向的悲悯和团结的泉涌。我们相信⾃⼰能够利⽤技术创造更⼤的⼈类福祉，找到创新⽅式来可持续地种植粮⻝，负责任地⽣产商品，谨慎地消费，与此同时，依然对⼤⾃然及其亿万⽣灵怀有深沉的尊重。 

Our mission is to champion Green Innovation, to herald a new era of ecological enlightenment—the Green Big Bang—that we so urgently need to coexist harmoniously within the bounds of this limited ecosystem. 

我们的使命是倡导绿⾊创新，迎接⼀个⽣态启蒙的新时代——“绿⾊⼤爆炸” 。为了在有限的⽣态系统之内实现和谐共⽣，我们迫切需要这个新时代的到来。 

We envision a world where humanity emerges not as nature's destroyer but as its loving steward. It's a categorical imperative for Homo Sapiens—an unwavering call to action, with intrinsic existential value for us all. 

我们梦想着这样⼀个世界：在这个世界中，⼈类不再是⾃然的破坏者，⽽是满怀爱⼼的⾃然管家。这对⼈类⽽⾔是⼀项⽆条件的义务，它是⼀声坚定不移的⾏动号召，饱含关乎所有⼈⽣死存亡的内在价值。 

Our journey includes fostering the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) trend within business culture, intertwining this pursuit with a deep understanding of how our intricate global ecosystem operates. 

我们的事业包括在商业⽂化中培育环境、社会和公司治理（ESG）趋势，同时，要将我们对复杂的全球⽣态系统运作⽅式的深刻理解融⼊这⼀追求。 

We champion green technology to address the looming shadow of one trillion tons of legacy carbon emissions. From energy conservation to clean energy production, water and waste management, and a global shift toward a circular economy that transcends mere "greenwashing," we seek to create value for humanity while upholding the dignity of all living creatures. 

⾯对棘⼿的万亿吨遗留碳排放，我们倡导运⽤绿⾊技术加以应对。从节约能源到⽣产清洁能源，到⽔和废物治理，再到超越简单 “漂绿” 的全球循环经济转向，我们在寻求为⼈类创造价值的同时，维护所有⽣物的尊严。 

The path to our survival and the revitalisation of our ecosystems must be global in scope. 

⼈类的存续和⽣态系统的复兴必须具有世界性。 

China, a global linchpin, holds the key. We firmly believe that no genuine solution can succeed without China's involvement. Our mission is to bring Green China to the World and to introduce the Green World to China—a pivotal step as we approach the crossroads of our shared destiny. 

中国作为全球⼤国，在此扮演着关键⻆⾊。我们坚信，没有中国的参与，⾏之有效的解决⽅案只能是空中楼阁。我们的使命是将绿⾊中国带给世界，同时将绿⾊世界带给中国——这是我们构建命运共同体的关键⼀步。

We have chosen Moganshan as the ideal setting for this endeavour. situated as the first mountains after the sea, nestled between the bustling metropolises of Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Suzhou. Moganshan offers the perfect stage for our mission. It boasts a pristine natural environment and has emerged as a beacon of nature conversation and sustainable rural renaissance in China. Historically, Moganshan has served as a privileged meeting ground where East and West celebrated the wonders of nature. Moreover, it easily accesses by high-speed train from urban centres, providing an inspiring and tranquil setting away from the distractions that often hinder our focus on what truly matters – harmonious coexistence on this beloved Blue Planet of ours. 

我们选择莫⼲⼭作为为这⼀事业奋⽃的理想场所。莫⼲⼭是⾯向⼤海的第⼀座⼭脉，上海、南京、杭州、宁波、苏州等繁华⼤都市点缀其间。莫⼲⼭为我们的使命提供了完美的舞台。

Our vision extends to the creation of a global ecosystem in Moganshan, one that beckons all potential resources worldwide to contributing significantly to humanity’s course correction and foster genuine reconciliation with nature. At its core lies a profound reverence for our soils and a comprehensive approach to every facet of human life: agriculture, housing, energy, industry, education, health, lifestyle, finance, and community stewardship. We embrace permaculture as our guiding ethos, a cosmology devoid of religious or political affiliations that might compromise our mission. In many respects, permaculture echoes the ancient wisdom of Daoism, which dates back more than 600 years BC. 

将愿景进⼀步延伸，我们希望在莫⼲⼭打造⼀个全球⽣态系统，吸引世界各地的潜在资源，为⼈类的道路纠偏做出重⼤贡献，促进⼈与⾃然的真正和谐。这⼀愿景的核⼼，是对我们脚下⼟地的深深敬畏和对⼈类⽣活各领域的全⽅位推动：农业、住房、能源、⼯业、教育、健康、⽣活⽅式、⾦融和社区管理。我们将永续农业作为指导精神。永续农业是⼀种宇宙观，它抛开了可能破坏我们使命的宗教或政治倾向。在许多⽅⾯，永续农业呼应了诞⽣于公元前600 多年的道家的古⽼智慧。 

DECC will soon initiate online sessions dedicated to identifying challenges and formulating solutions. 

DECC 将很快发起致⼒于发现挑战并制定解决⽅案的线上会议。 

Additionally, we are preparing to host a monumental Forum in June 2024 - a convergence of conventional discourse, a carnival of innovative ideas, and a vibrant presence across all major social media platforms. Our aim is to address the looming perils above us, and more importantly, to implement the necessary changes. 

此外，我们准备在2024 年 6 ⽉举办⼀场重要论坛。这将是⼀次传统话语的汇聚，⼀场创新思想的狂欢，论坛将在所有主要社交媒体平台上拥有较⾼讨论度。我们的⽬标是解决迫在眉睫的严峻危机，更重要的是，推动必要的变⾰。 

We call upon all of you, imploring your support in establishing this platform, where the world’s recourses converge in China, lead us all towards a global ecological civilization. We will establish a foundation, seek public support, create the requisite infrastructure, and establish legal entities that will ensure for the benefit of generations to come. 

我们呼吁并恳请所有⼈⽀持这个平台的创建，让全球资源汇聚中国，引领我们⾛向全球⽣态⽂明。我们将为此创⽴基⾦会，寻求公众⽀持，建设必要基础设施，并成⽴法律实体，以保障⼦孙后代的福祉绵⻓。
